TEACHER SHOPPING FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Shopping the free store is easy! Teachers are welcome to TWO SHOPPING trips per school year (one per semester). When you arrive, follow these simple steps:

  • STEP ONE: Check in at the front counter with your QR ticket and district issued ID card. ONLY TEACHERS WITH QR tickets will be allowed to shop!

  • STEP TWO: Receive a shopping list from a volunteer, who will briefly review the shopping procedures with you.

  • STEP THREE: Fill out the shopping list as you go; doing so will help to ensure a quick and easy check out. PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO POSTED LIMITS.

  • STEP FOUR: Check out with a volunteer and take a thank you slip. It is very helpful to us if your students write thank you notes for our product donors!

SOME KEY REMINDERS:

  • Please respect your allotted shopping time (usually 30 minutes)

  • DO NOT bring children with you to shop.

  • You are probably going to leave with more than you can carry, and while we try to have bags for teachers to take, you should bring your own shopping bags to place items in when you shop.

 

 

 

 

 

SHOPPING POLICIES

To best serve teachers and students, any abuse of our shopping system will result in revocation of shopping privileges.

  • All items distributed via Project Teacher Free Store or Mobile Program are for students and classroom use ONLY. Everything you take must be used for the benefit of your students.

  • There may be some items that are restricted by grade level. Please do not take these items if you do not teach within that grade level.

  • You will need to show the unique QR code that you receive from TicketLeap. A staff person will scan it and you will be able to shop. This QR code CAN NOT be shared with other teachers. It is also helpful to have your school ID handy.

  • Please do not bring children with you to shop.

  • Please refrain from cell phone use during check-in and check-out times.

  • All items are distributed in good faith, and are "as-is".

  • Project Teacher reserves the right to take photographs or video during shopping or other events. We have the right to use these photos and videos for marketing purposes without notice or permission. If you would like to NOT be photographed/filmed, please tell a staff member.

  • We reserve the right to share any shopping information with your school administrator(s).
