We are the only Free Teacher Resource Center in the state of Kansas. Formed on the idea that kids deserve to have essential school supplies and that their teachers shouldn't have to pay for them out of their own pocket, we started in the Fall of 2014 with a goal to help just a handful of schools in West Wichita. Our organization quickly grew and with local and national partnerships we have been able to serve schools all across South Central Kansas.

 

In the Wichita school district (USD259) alone, we serve over 52,000 students. About 75% of them live at or below the poverty line and qualify for the federally funded free and reduced lunch program. What is even more astonishing is that over 2000 of those students are homeless.

 

We believe teachers are heroes and that together we can rewrite history and impact the next generation of leaders. We believe that School Supplies Change Lives.
