Project Teacher is thrilled to announce our move to the USD 259 School Service Center (3850 N Hydraulic), a move that allows us to expand our operations and better serve Kansas educators. This transition gives us more warehouse space and access to new distribution methods ensuring teachers receive essential classroom supplies more efficiently than ever before. We want to express our gratitude to the Wichita Public Schools leadership for their invaluable support in accommodating our program! At our new location, we’re excited to introduce a series of new programs tailored to support both experienced and new teachers. Among these are specially curated supply kits for new educators, giving them the tools they need to start their teaching journey with confidence. Additionally, we will be launching STEAM kits, and Classroom Restock boxes that will be distributed to teachers in our area. We are excited to still offer opportunities for teachers to receive free and quality supplies through events (like The Big Give) and pop up shops like in the past. All of these programs are designed to enrich classroom experiences by equipping teachers with the tools needed to empower their students.
With this, Project Teacher remains more committed than ever to addressing educational disparities and supporting teachers who make an impact in the classroom daily. We are excited to continue the work to reduce the financial burden on teachers and extend our reach to serve even more classrooms in need in Kansas. As we settle into this new space, we look forward to creating a brighter future for Kansas classrooms!
